“My friend and I stayed in Llangollen (opposite this place) to take part in the canoeing Acqueduct activity and were at a loss as to what to do on our way back from dinner. We decided to give it a go and walk up the hill to the pub here. When we asked at the door whether we would be welcome in, they said, “come on in!” What a greeting. Went in, saw an incredible live band called Purple Umbrella and had the best time ever. Lovely, friendly bar staff and owners. Mentioned that we needed breakfast the next day and they made it just for us. Filling breakfast and cheap. I would totally recommend this place”
